FEMA opens Disaster office in Janesville
FEMA is opening a Disaster Recovery Center in Janesville Monday.
FEMA officials are urging victims to get registered by phone first, toll-free at 1-800-621-FEMA, that's 1-800-621-FEMA. Spokeswoman Marquita Hynes urges flood victims to ask questions. They can get help filling out forms and finding services. She says the midwest flood is turning out to be one of the worst natural disasters in many years. The Disaster Recovery Center will open at 1:00 monday afternoon at the New Life Assembly of God Church on Wright Road in Janesville.
It'll be open daily from 10:00 until 7:00 after that.
