-- NICHOLAS D. HUGHES, 20, of the Racine Youth Facility, Racine, on charges of burglary and theft at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the facility. The charges related to an incident in October of 2006, when Hughes allegedly took items from a Janesville home.
-- CURTIS A. ORSBURNE, 41, of 3353 Colby Lane, Janesville, on charges of criminal trespass to a dwelling and a probation hold at 4:23 p.m. Wednesday at East Memorial Drive and Oakhill Avenue, Janesville.
-- JUSTIN M. GILLESPIE, 22, of 1416 Hamilton Ave., Janesville on charges of child neglect and a probation hold at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday at home. He also was arrested on a warrant charging him with nonpayment of a fine for retail theft. The child neglect charges stem from an incident that same day when Gillespie allegedly left a 2-year-old male child in a running car for up to two hours and five minutes.
-- NICHOLAS G. WENTZ, 22, of 1259 Eaton Ave., Beloit, on charges of burglary on Wednesday at the Rock County Jail. The charges stem from an incident on Jan. 9 in which Wentz was accused of breaking into a home in Turtle Township.
-- JACOB D. TANKE, 21, of Roscoe, Ill., on charges of escape at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Rock County Health Care Center, 3530 North County F, Janesville. The charges stem from an incident in which Tanke is accused of escaping before police were scheduled to take him to a medical facility.
-- THEFT reported at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 24 from a trailer park on North Highway 14. A Honda Rebel, valued at $1,500, was taken.
