Joe Kieman and Aaron Logterman lit the fire for Delavan-Darien High School’s boys basketball team in the second half Monday night.


With those two each having a big quarter, the host Comets rallied from a 25-20 halftime deficit to down Milton, 54-48, in a makeup game that left both teams at 4-4 in the Southern Lakes Conference.


Kiemen hit a couple three-point shots early in the second half and scored all nine of his points in the third quarter to help Delavan-Darien (7-8) grab a 38-34 lead. Logterman, a 6-7 junior, scored scored 10 his 14 points in the final period to keep the Comets on top.


Delavan-Darien also got 13 points from 6-5 sophomore Tyler Butke. Brandon Knudtson had 13 points to pace Milton (8-8), which played without sharp-shooting guard Matt Drew, who was sidelined with a concussion.
