Craig, Parker swimmers fall
Janesville Craig High School lost 106-64 to an improving Madison East in Big Eight Conference boys dual meet swimming Friday.
“They are starting to come around,” Craig coach Jeremy Meserole said. “We gave it our best shot. We swam our best lineup.’’
Nick Hazekamp won the 100 backstroke (1:00.49) and Josh Terry won the 100 breastroke (1:08.94) for the visiting Cougars’ two victories. Craig falls to 1-4 in conference duals.
Craig will compete in the Middleton Relays today at 11 a.m.

Parker falls to Middleton
Janesville Parker High lost 109-61 to Middleton in a Big Eight Conference boys dual meet swimming Friday, but David Dvorak returned to the lineup with a pair of victories.
Dvorak won the 100 freestyle (49.03) and the 50 freestyle (22.68) in his first competitive meet in a month. Dvorak recovered from a hip injury.
Parker’s Marcus Genrich won the 200 individual medley (2:11.65) and the 100 breastroke (1:05.90), while teammate Egeman Gozoglu won the 100 butterfly (58.22).
The Viking will compete in the Manitowoc Invitational today at 10 a.m.
