United Way of North Rock County reaches 82 percent of '07 goal

— Rock County communities have contributed $1,434,475 to United Way of North Rock Countyís 2007 annual fund-raising campaign to reach 82 percent of the $1.75 million goal.

These organization recently reported their campaign results: American Heart Association, Babcock Signs, Blackhawk Technical College, Bourns, Boys & Girls Club of Janesville, city of Evansville, Community Action, Data Dimensions, EDS, Epilepsy Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, Freedom Plastics, Gander Mountain, GOEX, Holiday Inn Express & Conference Center, HospiceCare, HSBC-North America, HUFCOR, Janesville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, Janesville Community Day Care, The Janesville Gazette, Johnson Bank, KANDU Industries, Lear Seating, Lions Quick Marts, M&I Bank, NEX, Norwood Promotional Products, NothelferGilman, Prent, Senior Services of Rock County, Simmons, Southwest WI Workforce Development Board, SSI Technologies, Target, Union Bank & Trust, Van Galder Bus, Coach USA, VP Building, Wachovia Securities, WCLO/WJVL and the YWCA of Rock County.

A number of companies still havenít turned in their campaign results yet while others have not held their campaigns.

For those who have not given to the campaign, there still is time, said Gail Graham, president of the local United Way.
