— A Janesville man was arrested Monday on a charge of causing injury by drunken driving after a two-car accident on Riverside Drive.

George F. Carroll, 61, of 1033 Carrington St., Janesville, was driving north at 2:30 p.m. in the 3200 block of Riverside Drive. He crossed the centerline and struck an oncoming car driven by Eric M. Nehls, 27, of 2155 Portland Ave., Beloit, according to Town of Beloit Police officer Janelle Jurkiewicz.

Nehls was in fair condition at Beloit Memorial Hospital this morning.

Carroll was cited for crossing the centerline and not wearing a seat belt, Jurkiewicz said. Carroll was treated and released from Beloit Memorial Hospital.
