— The suspect in multiple break-ins in Walworth and Rock counties should be back in Wisconsin soon to face pending charges.

Police in Sarasota County, Florida, arrested Jonathan A. Jeske, 31, on Nov. 30.

He waived an extradition hearing Wednesday and will be headed back to Wisconsin by Jan. 10, Walworth County Undersheriff Kurt Picknell said.

Wisconsin authorities knew Jeske had relatives in Florida, and police there were aware of the possibility he might be there, Picknell said. He did not know the exact circumstances of Jeske’s Florida arrest.

Jeske of Williams Bay is facing bail jumping charges in Walworth County. He had a warrant out for his arrest since Nov. 16.

He is the suspect of at least five October burglaries in Williams Bay, Fontana and Walworth and other burglaries in Clinton and Turtle Township, according to police.

He was arrested Nov. 13 on charges of credit card fraud and possession of stolen property. He posted bond and allegedly fled the state, according to police.
