Beloit Memorial High School’s girls basketball team took a little of the suspense out of Sun Prairie’s upcoming trip to Janesville Parker.

The Purple Knights rallied from a 24-19 halftime deficit Thursday night at Sun Prairie to trip the Cardinals, 51-49, and drop them two games behind first-place Parker (6-0) at 4-2 in the Big Eight Conference.

Sun Prairie plays at Parker on Saturday afternoon in what could have been a battle for first place.
