JPD schedules news conference
A Janesville man must pay $110,000 cash bail for a 1998 sexual assault and burglary. Court Commissioner Charles Holznecht also requires 31-year-old Michael Huber to wear a GPS unit if he is able to post bond.
As he set bond Tuesday, Holznecht said conditions of release other than monetary conditions may be imposed to protect members of the community from serious bodily harm.
Prosecutors say they have verbal confirmation from the state crime lab that Huber's DNA also matches a 2003 sexual assault case.
Janesville police have scheduled a news conference Wednesday morning in reference to their serial rape investigation and Huber's arrest.
