Williams Bay High School’s boys basketball team celebrated its second straight Trailways South championship by making quick work of Johnson Creek.
The Bulldogs (16-2, 14-1) clinched the title when second-place Deerfield fell over the weekend, but they added to the celebration Monday night with a 67-42 victory over the host Bluejays in a game that was out of reach after the first quarter.
Andrew Martin, the Bay’s 6-6 senior center, scored 10 of his 14 points in a 24-7 first period. Damian Brellenthin and Michael Hanley helped finish the job 11 and 10-point games for the Bulldogs.
Joe Bauer had 12 points for Johnson Creek (5-13, 3-11).
