— Woodman’s shoppers undoubtedly received a surprise when a car crashed into the building Saturday morning.

Anna M. Marsh, 79, of 1916 Mineral Point Ave., Janesville, was driving her car into a parking stall at the grocery store, 2819 N. Lexington Drive, when she accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake, according to a police report. The car hit the building, damaging the wall and door at the front entrance.

Marsh was not reported injured.

No one from Woodman’s was available to comment Saturday evening.
