Janesville Craig High’s gymnastics team finished fifth in the Saturday’s Mukwonago Invitational.

The Cougars totalled 132.225 points, while the co-op team of Burlington/Lake Geneva Badger/Wilmot won the eight-team invite with 141.925.

“This was a very competitive invitational,” Craig coach Jean Welch said. “Anytime you get this many co-op teams competing, it’s going to be tough.

“We’re progressing as a team, and that’s the most important thing.”

Sophomore Katharine Cullen was the top Craig performer—finishing seventh on floor exercise and eighth in the overall.
