Ice and snow create additional strain for Senior Center parking

As Janesville's Senior Center participants wait for a parking shortage solution from the city, seniors look for creative short-term solutions to parking spots covered in ice and snow.

Don Allison, president of the Senior Center board, says the center might enlist help for a volunteer valet service. He says the volunteers could be Senior Center participants or volunteers from the community. Allison says the neighboring law firm of McDonald & Gustafson has offered extra parking spaces if the Senior Center lot is full. He says these solutions are temporary, and not long-term.
