WCLO's Steve Benton reports the first batch of flood disaster checks for Rock County home owners and businesses are sent out
ROCK COUNTY The Small Business Administration is following through on some loan applications to help Rock County residents and business owners recovering from June flooding.
S.B.A. spokesman, Carl Sherrill, says a little over $2.2 million is being sent as home or renter loans, and to businesses and non-profits in Rock County.
Statewide the funding is close to $30 million. Sherrill says the deadline to apply for these loans is September 15th, and to date they have received only about 16% of the application they sent out.
