— The Small Business Administration is following through on some loan applications to help Rock County residents and business owners recovering from June flooding.

S.B.A. spokesman, Carl Sherrill, says a little over $2.2 million is being sent as home or renter loans, and to businesses and non-profits in Rock County.

Statewide the funding is close to $30 million. Sherrill says the deadline to apply for these loans is September 15th, and to date they have received only about 16% of the application they sent out.
