Janesville Parker High’s girls golf team got back to their winning ways Tuesday.

Led by Katie Brossard’s 83, the Vikings defeated Madison West and Madison Memorial in a Big Eight Conference triple dual at Riverside Golf Course. Parker finished with a 361 total, while West was at 386 and Memorial at 412.

The defending conference champion Vikings lost to Madison East last week after going unbeaten a year ago in winning the dual-meet title, but had little trouble improving to 3-1 on Tuesday.

“We played much better today,” Parker coach John Zimmerman said. “It was a beautiful day and the girls came out and played a pretty solid round overall.

“Losing to East was a just a hiccup. We had a bad day and I think as a team we’ve forgotten about it.”

Molly Rozeboom added an 86 for Parker, while Amanda Becker finished with a 91 and Jennifer Polglaze with a 101.

Parker will host Middleton and Madison La Follette on Thursday in another Big Eight triple dual.
