RSS

— Three projects top the list of economic development in Beloit.

The first is a 60,000 square foot addition to the existing Serta Mattress factory. Work on that is scheduled to be completed this fall.

Next, the new IPM Foods facility in the old Wisconsin Pretzel factory is nearing completion. They will produce food products for sale in paper cartons. The inside of the building is undergoing major renovations to accommodate the operation.

And finally, Beloit will be getting another hotel. Hampton Inn will build a business class hotel at the corner of Cranston and Milwaukee Roads near the I-90 / I-43 interchange. The company is going through the site plan review process with the city and hope to have the building under construct this fall.
