Snappers drop fourth straight

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — The Beloit Snappers tumbled to their fourth straight defeat, losing 8-1 to the Cedar Rapids Kernels in Midwest League baseball Monday.

The Kernals reached Snappers starter David Bromberg (7-10) for two runs on four hits through six innings and reliever Chris Anderson for six runs on eight hits in 1 1-3 innings.

Beloit led 1-0 lead until the fifth inning. Cedar Rapids took a 2-1 lead in the sixth and added three runs in the seventh and eighth innings
