Fund raising tops goal for Milton dog park
Construction is set to begin soon on a dog park in Milton.
City Administrator Todd Schmidt says more than $30,000 has been raised to complete the first phase of the project. The most notable donation to the campaign is a $10,000 grant through the Theodore Batterman Family Foundation. Schmidt says now the materials can be purchased to begin construction.
The 15-acre facility planned for the city's southwest side is expected to be open yet this fall.
