McQuade golf outing set for Aug. 16

JANESVILLE — JANESVILLE—Applications still are being accepted for the 10th annual Phil McQuade Memorial Golf Scramble.

The 18-hole event is Saturday, Aug. 16, at the Janesville Country Club. It will include an 11 a.m. buffet luncheon, 12:30 p.m. shotgun start for golf and 5:30 p.m. program.

The entry fee is $99 for the golf and luncheon, with $30 going directly to Phil McQuade Memorial Fund. Hole sponsorships are available for $100, and corporate sponsorships are $250.

Proceeds go to improvement of the Phil McQuade Memorial baseball field at the Janesville Youth Sports Complex. It is the goal of Janesville Youth Baseball to install lighting at the field.
