— A South Beloit man and a Kentucky woman were injured in a one vehicle accident around one o'clock Monday morning.

Rock County sheriff's deputies responded to the "T" intersection of South Afton and Townline Roads. They report a motorcycle crashed into a metal fence gate, ejecting the driver, 21 year old Ronald Miller and his passenger 33 year old Tara Gatlin.

Miller was taken to U-W Hospital in Madison with head and arm injuries. Gatlin was taken to St. Anthony's Hospital in Rockford with head and leg injuries.

Miller was allegedly fleeing from a Town of Beloit police officer. The investigation indicates the pursuit was terminated prior to the accident.

The Sheriff's Department is seeking a charge of injury by the intoxicated use of a motor vehicle against Miller. Charges from the Town of Beloit are pending further investigation.
