Parker soccer team suffers first loss

— Janesville Parker High School absorbed a 6-1 defeat against visiting Madison La Follette in Big Eight Conference girls soccer here Tuesday.

The Lancers (6-3, 4-0) scored twice in the first half and three straight goals to start the second half to hand the Vikings (8-1, 2-1) their first loss of the season.

“We got outplayed, plain and simple,” Parker coach Matt Beisser said. “We got a wakeup call. La Follette is a good team.’’
