-- MELISSA M. SCHMIDT, 28, of 1306 N. Washington St., No. 8, Janesville, on a charge of forgery Tuesday at her home.


-- JOSEPH A. HANSEN, 43, of 4008 Riverside Drive, Edgerton, on bench warrants Tuesday at the Rock County Jail charging failure to appear in court on earlier charges of third-offense drunken driving and driving on a revoked license.


-- CHAD N. WEBB, 23, of 339 Linn St., Janesville, on a charge of substantial battery this morning at Franklin and Milwaukee streets in Janesville. Also arrested on warrants charging failure to pay fines for three counts of disorderly conduct and one of criminal damage.


-- CLARENCE SCOTT, 36, no fixed address, on a bench warrant this morning at the Rock County Jail charging failure to appear in court on an earlier charge of forgery.


-- VERNELL STEVENSON, 28, of 224 Madison St., No. 1, Janesville, on Wednesday at the Rock County Jail on two charges of cocaine delivery and one of robbery.


Intoxicated driving arrests

-- JEFFREY P. TUESCHER, 22, of 3631 Bass Creek Road, at 2:36 a.m. today in the 200 block of West Milwaukee Street in Janesville. Also arrested on a charge of resisting and violating probation.


-- GREGG L. ANDERSON, 35, of 4402 S. County H, Orfordville, at 1:57 a.m. Wednesday on Highway 51 south of West Russell Road in Janesville Township. It was reported as his second arrest on a drunken-driving charge. Also ticketed for driving left of center.


Intoxicated driving arrests

-- MICHAEL A. DESCAMPS, 38, of 421 Eisenhower Ave., Janesville, at 12:42 a.m. Saturday on County S north of Hart Road in Turtle Township. Also ticketed for speeding.


-- WHITNEY R. FARRELL, 27, of 1342 Euclid Ave., Beloit, at 3:19 a.m. Sunday at Midland Road and Midland Court in Janesville.

-- SHOTS FIRED from a vehicle at a house on South Creek Road in Turtle Township reported Monday afternoon. Deputies reported recovering five .22-caliber shell casings. Investigation continues.


-- BURGLARY to a garage in the 300 block of Edward Street in Footville reported Tuesday. A Daisy pellet gun valued at $75 was reported stolen.


-- BURGLARY to an apartment in the 200 block of West Milwaukee Street in Janesville reported Wednesday. A TV and DVD player valued at $110 total were reported stolen.


-- BURGLARY to World Buffet, 2701 Milton Ave., Janesville, reported Tuesday. $1,250 cash was reported stolen.


-- BURGLARY to a shed on West Evansville-Brooklyn Road in Union Township reported April 11. Four wheels and tires valued at $1,500 reported stolen.


-- THEFT of copper wire—15 large spools valued at $9,000 and 125 small spools valued at $6,250—from Anderson Welding, 5439 N. Harmony Town Hall Road, Milton, reported April 14. Thefts could have occurred over months.


-- BURGLARY to a residence on North Spring Hill Drive in Janesville Township reported Wednesday. Jewelry, valued not listed, reported stolen.


-- GANG GRAFFITI reported Thursday on a mailbox in the 2600 block of Elizabeth Street in Janesville. Damage estimated at $70.


-- TWO COUNTERFEIT $20 BILLS deposited in an inmate’s account at the Rock County Jail and reported Thursday.


-- THEFT of a Mercury outboard boat motor valued at $5,000 from a pontoon boat at Hidden Valley Campground, 872 E. Highway 59, Edgerton, reported Saturday.


-- THEFT of a food warmer owned by Right Catering and kept at Lear Seating, 3708 Enterprise Drive, Janesville. Theft of the appliance, valued at $3,000, reported Monday.
