Arrests

-- EBERT S. DAVISON, 23, of 961 10th St., Beloit, on a charge of battery by prisoner Tuesday at the Rock County Jail where another inmate—a 22-year-old Janesville man—reported being beaten.


-- NATHANIEL J. PARTEE, 46, of 1103 Keeler Ave., Beloit, at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of escape. Partee was released from the Rock County Jail at 11:30 a.m. for work and did not return when he was due at 2:30 p.m., according to a sheriff’s department report. He returned to the jail that night.


-- JEFFERY F. FORRETT, 52, no fixed address, Janesville, at 10 p.m. Wednesday at 24 N. Main St., Janesville, on a warrant charging burglary.


Intoxicated driving arrests

-- KIPP A. HOSCHEIT, 42, of 832 Rockshire Drive, Janesville, at 2:18 a.m. April 5 at Arthur Drive and Highway 26, Milton.


-- JOSEPH J. CUTCHINS, 32, of 13015 E. Salisbury Road, Whitewater, at 3:30 a.m. Thursday on Highway 59 at East Berg Road in Lima Township. Also ticketed for failure to notify police of an accident and mandatory seatbelt violation.


-- TODD L. WILL, 33, Menasha, at 11:09 p.m. Thursday at Bingham Road and Highway 26, Harmony Township. He also was cited for driving without a valid license.


-- JOHN W. HELLER, 51, of 4941 W. Stonefarm Road, Edgerton, at 1:27 a.m. Saturday on County M west of County F in Fulton Township. It was reported as his fifth arrest on a drunken-driving charge.


-- JERRY L. GRUENBERG, 45, of 112 E. Fulton St., Edgerton at 4:28 p.m. Saturday at Highway 59 and Ellendale Road in Fulton Township.


-- TERRY L. PECKHAM, 49, Cottage Grove, at 8:15 p.m. Saturday at Highway 59 and Sherman Road, Fulton Township.


-- TYLER L. WURTINGER, 28, of 117 Buten St., Milton, at 8:34 p.m. Saturday at Highway 59 and East Harbor Drive in Milton Township. It was reported as his second arrest on a drunken-driving charge. Also ticketed for open intoxicants in a vehicle.


-- JEFFREY L. HART, 53, Bensenville, Ill., at 10:56 p.m. Saturday at Highway 59 and Harbor Drive, Fulton Township.


-- AARON J. SYPHARD, 22, of 2909 Woodlane Drive, Janesville, at 12:05 a.m. Sunday at County J and Townline Road in Turtle Township. Syphard was driving south on County J when he failed to turn onto Townline Road. He drove through the ditch and into an unplanted field. The arrest was listed as Syphard’s second on a drunken driving charge. Syphard also was arrested for driving on a suspended license.


-- LONNY P. PASTORIUS, 31, of 514 Greenman St., Milton, at 1:52 a.m. Sunday on Highway 59 east of East Harbor Drive in Milton Township. Also ticketed for driving left of center.


Accidents

-- HIGHWAY 59 AT EAST BERG ROAD, Joseph J. Cutchins, 32, of 13014, E. Salisbury Road, Whitewater, was arrested on a charge of drunken driving and ticketed for failure to notify police of an accident and mandatory seatbelt violation after his car struck the ditch, causing it to go airborne over the roadway at 3:30 a.m. Thursday. Cutchins was reported as transported for medical treatment. It was reported as his first arrest on a drunken-driving charge.

-- THEFT from a vehicle on East Road Five in Milton Township reported April 9. Plumbing supplies and tools, valued at $2,568, were reported stolen.


-- THEFT of a 1994 Chevrolet Blazer, valued at $1,500, from the 1500 block of East Delavan Drive in Janesville reported Sunday.


-- BURGLARY to a shed in the 2300 block of South Terrace Street in Janesville reported Monday. Items reported stolen included four air conditioners and electronic devices, total value $1,500. They were recovered later Monday from a vehicle in the 2300 block of Center Avenue.


-- THEFT of a 1986 Chrysler LeBaron, valued at $100, from the 300 block of South Walnut Street in Janesville reported Monday.


-- FOURTH-DEGREE SEXUAL ASSAULT to a 17-year-old girl reported at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday at Rotary Gardens, 1455 Palmer Drive, Janesville. The victim was acquainted with the suspected assaulter, but no arrest has been made yet.
