Arrests

-- CHADD M. JAMERSON, 23, of 535 Kenwood Ave., Beloit, on a warrant Monday charging felony failure to report to jail and a bench warrant charging failure to appear in court on an earlier charge of fourth-offense driving on a revoked license.


-- BRAD L. KNAPP, 22, of W8767 Territorial Road, Whitewater, early Sunday morning on a charge of knowingly fleeing an officer after a deputy reported chasing Knapp’s vehicle from Janesville southbound on Interstate 90/39 at speeds up to 125 mph. Also ticketed for speeding.


-- DETREON M. BANKS, 22, of 176 Lincoln St., Janesville, on charges of possessing cocaine with intent to deliver and disorderly conduct Tuesday afternoon at his home after police investigated a report of a 27-year-old man being threatened in the 100 block of South Jackson Street in Janesville. Arrested in the same incident were HARVEY C. MCKINNEY, 2022 Lincoln St., Janesville, on a charge of disorderly conduct and, later at the Rock County Jail, on a charge of possessing marijuana and LEROY T. DOYLE, 28, of 153 S. High St., No. 1, Janesville, on a charge of disorderly conduct while armed, a Dane County warrant charging harassment and four Rock County warrants charging failure to pay fines for three convictions of disorderly conduct and one of battery.


Intoxicated driving arrests

-- ASHA D. STEPHENSON, 28, of 321 E. Racine St., Janesville, at 2:57 a.m. today at Main Street and Centerway in Janesville.


Reported

-- THEFT of a tan Pomeranian dog, valued at $1,500, from a dog cage in the garage of a home in the 1200 block of Royal Oaks Drive in Janesville during an open house between 1 and 3 p.m. Sunday. The year-old female dog was wearing a red collar and red tag.


-- THEFT of photo equipment, a computer and PDA, total value $4,340, from a vehicle in the 1700 block of West Rugby Road in Janesville reported Sunday.


-- BURGLARY to a residence in the 300 block of South High Street in Janesville reported Sunday. A safe, value not reported, was reported stolen.


-- BURGLARY to Smart Auto Repair, 1001 Beloit Ave., Janesville, reported Thursday. Two amplifiers, total value $100, were reported taken.


Accidents

-- NORTH PEARL STREET AND LAUREL AVENUE in Janesville at 8:20 a.m. Monday, a sport-utility vehicle driven by Melissa K. Arndt, 39, of 120 Waveland Road, Janesville, entered the intersection and struck broadside a car driven by Daniel H. Markin, 36, South Beloit, Ill., Arndt was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of prescription medication and for not having prescription drugs in their prescribed bottle and ticketed for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign and not having a valid driver’s license. Markin and a passenger in his car—Dedra L. Milner, 39, of 1526 W. Grand Ave., Beloit—were treated and released at Mercy Hospital in Janesville.
