Missing woman found uninjured

— A town of Lyons woman with Alzheimer’s disease was found uninjured a half mile from her home after reported missing Saturday morning.

The 68-year-old woman was home Friday evening, but her son couldn’t find her when he checked on her Saturday morning, according to the Walworth County Sheriff’s Department.

Search dogs and about 75 police officers, firefighters and emergency medical technicians helped search. The county’s Code Red mass telephone notification system was activated.

The woman was found at 8:07 a.m. Saturday.
