Arrests

-- TYLER D. MILLER, 18, of 68 S. Huron Drive, Janesville, on charges of forgery and theft Tuesday at his home in connection with the theft and cashing of another person’s checks.


-- JOE E. VASSEUR, 52, Rockford, Ill., on a bench warrant Sunday in Dane County charging failure to appear in court on an earlier charge of drunken driving.


-- MICHAEL T. KUEBLI, 43, of 3222 Mount Zion Ave., Janesville, on bench warrants Tuesday charging failure to appear in court on earlier charges of drunken driving and driving on a revoked license.


-- SIDNEY J. MOORE, 31, Chicago, on Rock County warrants charging operating a vehicle without owner consent, battery and misdemeanor theft Tuesday at Will County (Ill.) Jail.


-- SCOTT SPERB, 22, of 432 N. Parker Drive, Janesville, on a charge of being party to a crime of attempted burglary and MICHAEL PFAFF, 18, of 221 N. Franklin St., Janesville, on charges of criminal damage to property, burglary, attempted burglary and possession of burglary tools at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at Doc’s Cycle, 115 E. Racine St., Janesville. Both are in custody at the Rock County Jail and awaiting their first court appearances.


-- GARY O.C. WILLIAMS, 17, of 3704 Chesapeake Ave., Janesville, on charges of forgery and theft Monday at his home.


-- AN 18-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE MAN on Tuesday on a charge of second-degree sexual assault to a minor.


Intoxicated driving arrests

-- GEOFFREY W. REINKE, 29, of 2404 Rockport Road, Janesville, at 6:52 p.m. Monday at Milton Avenue and Interstate 90/39 in Janesville. It was reported as his third arrest on a drunken-driving charge. Also arrested on a charge of driving on a revoked license.


Reported

-- BURGLARY to a residence in the 2600 block of Randolph Road in Janesville reported Tuesday, a coffee pot, two small artificial Christmas trees, cash, coins and several jewelry pieces—total value $2,100—were reported stolen; much of the jewelry was recovered at a local pawnshop. Police have a suspect in the case, who is also suspect of stealing a TV, air compressor, rug shampooer and cash—total value $760—from a residence in the 100 block of South Locust Street in Janesville.


-- BURGLARY reported Monday to a construction trailer owned by Preferred Homes, 4450 Milton Ave., Janesville, and parked in the 4600 block of Parkwood Drive in Janesville. Damage estimated at $100; no report of stolen items.


-- GANG GRAFFITI discovered Monday on the side of a building in the 1500 block of East Racine Street in Janesville. Damage estimated at $50.


-- BURGLARY to a garage on East Avalon Road in Bradford Township reported Friday. A compound bow and tools, value not listed, were reported stolen.


Accidents

-- KENNEDY ROAD AND NORWOOD DRIVE in Janesville at 5:05 p.m. Monday, a sport-utility vehicle driven by Jeane A. Quint, 65, of 3720 W. County A, Janesville, pulled into the path of a sport-utility vehicle driven by Sharyl L. Pingel, 45, of 2112 S. Marion Ave. Quint was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign. Pingel and a passenger—Brielle E. Powers, 5, same address—were reported transported for medical treatment.


Charged

-- GARY E. PETERS, 49, of 2640 N. Britt Road, Janesville, with substantial battery and misdemeanor battery in connection with an incident Nov. 17 in Janesville Township in which a man’s hand was cut deeply and a woman was pushed and punched in the face.


-- MISTY L. KVISTAD, 29, and SHANNON K. KVISTAD, 25, both of 1516 Sylvester St., Janesville, both with two counts of party to forgery after two checks stolen from a woman in Beloit were cashed at stores in Janesville in April.


-- DANIEL A. NEWVILLE, 44, of 4700 Highway 14, Janesville, with second-degree sexual assault, false imprisonment and battery after a 40-year-old woman told police she was held against her will, repeatedly struck and repeatedly sexually assaulted Nov. 20 in a local motel.


-- PAUL R. BORMAN, 43, of 502 Chestnut St., Janesville, with first-degree sexual assault of a child younger than 13 and sexual assault of a child younger than 16 after two girls reported sexual assaults in July in Janesville. One said Borman had licked her, and the other said he fondled her, the criminal complaint charged.


-- JUAN C. ARMAS, 38, of 501 Kellogg Ave., Janesville, with escape after correctional officers at the Rock County Jail reported he did return to the jail Sept. 16 after being allowed out on Huber privileges to seek medical treatment.


-- TERRANCE T. FORD, 25, no fixed address, and ELIEAZAR U. TATE, 22, of 121 S. Main St., No. 5, Janesville, both with party to delivery of cocaine in connection with a controlled purchase made by Janesville police in June through an undercover informant.


-- EUGENE G. PHILIPPI JR., 29, of 316 Racine St., Janesville, with felony failure to report to jail after correctional officers at the Rock County Jail reported Philippi did not show up by the required date in September to serve a 30-day sentence for obstructing.


-- SHEENA L. MCLEMORE, 23, Madison, with two counts of delivery of Ecstasy after controlled purchases by Janesville police in July through an undercover informant.
