— A Janesville woman was ticketed Sunday for procuring alcohol for an underage person after a rural Janesville man was taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment of alcohol poisoning.

Jennifer L. Wright, 22, of 408 S. Main St., No. 4, Janesville, was cited after a party at her home. She told Rock County sheriff’s deputies she thought the 20-year-old man was of legal drinking age.

He was ticketed for underage drinking.

Friends took the unresponsive man home, and he then was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital, where his blood-alcohol concentration was determined to be 0.25.

The state’s legal threshold for intoxication is 0.08.
