— Janesville's Salvation Army organization hopes to raise $275,000 during its annual bell-ringing season that kicked off Nov. 16 and continues through Christmas Eve.

The money will fund the Salvation Army’s meal site, food pantry, emergency assistance, children’s programs, summer camps and transitional housing programs.

Bell ringers are still needed. Call Jodi Rhodes, volunteer coordinator, at (608) 757-8300 or sign up online at www.janesvilleSA.org.
