Big Foot school district budget
A look at the 2007-08 budget for the Big Foot School District:
Highlights:
-- The district will receive $45,721 less in state aid, but because of the district’s high property value, it already doesn’t receive much compared to other districts.
-- The district is beginning to pay off a $600,000 loan for energy conservation, which contributed to the increase in the tax levy. The district continues to pay referendum debt from the 2000 building referendum.
-- Property values in the district increased almost 11 percent over last year.
