Rock County sheriff’s deputies report that a red Chevrolet Venture van driven by Andrea Thom, 59, of Janesville was traveling east on Highway 14 at North River Road when it crossed the centerline and collided with a black Chevrolet Blazer driven by Vicki Nance, 50, of Janesville.

The two drivers were the only occupants of the vehicles. Both were extricated and taken by helicopter to University Hospital in Madison.

Nance, who was wearing a seat belt, was in fair condition this morning.

Thom, who was not wearing a seat belt, was listed in critical condition Tuesday by the sheriff’s department, but the hospital had no report on her this morning.

Citations are pending until the investigation is complete, according to the sheriff’s department.
