State fines appraisers for violating standards
The Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing sanctioned two local businesses in September.
The Real Estate Appraisers Board suspended the license of Kevin E. Wilder, Janesville, to practice real estate appraisal for 45 days for performing an appraisal that violated standards. He also must complete remedial education and pay costs of $990.
The same board limited the license of Michael G. Donahue, Lake Geneva, for violating standards. He may practice only in his county of residence and adjacent counties and may not conduct appraisals of single-family residential property until successful completion of remedial education requirements. He also must pay costs of $700.
