— The Janesville Bluebirds rolled to a 5-1 victory over McFarland in nonconference hockey Friday.

Janesville’s co-op hockey team scored all its goals in the first two periods.

“They got the first couple shots on goal and then we turned it around,” Janesville hockey coach John Mauermann said. “We spread the ice and started getting shots.’’

Kenny Durfee scored at 4:59 of the first period off assists from Grant Jahns and Michael Valentine. Kaleb Eichman followed with a power play goal with an assist from Ross Mauermann at 16:44 for a 2-0 Bluebird lead. Durfee suffered a knee injury in the second period.
