Intoxicated driving arrests

-- SOUPHY SISOPHA, 53, 221 Center Ave., Janesville, at 8:25 p.m. Thursday on Pease Court and North Main Street, Janesville.


-- NATHAN WINCAPAW, 18, of 3845 Highway 14, Janesville at 11:40 p.m. Thursday at North Franklin Street and Mineral Point Avenue, Janesville.


-- WILLIAM ROTZOLL, 58, of 2504 Lucerne Drive, Janesville, at 5:03 p.m. Thursday at home.


-- MARIO ORTEGA, 40, 1018 1Oth St., Beloit, at 7:55 p.m. Thursday at Rock County Sheriff’s Department. It was reported as his fourth arrest on drunken driving charges.


-- ANDREA RAMIREZ, 26, of 1521 Swallow Lane, Janesville, at 11:05 p.m. Dec. 14 at 1620 W. Highway 14 in Janesville Township. Also ticketed for driving on a suspended license.


-- BARRY E. BERGUM, 41, of 143 W. Church St., Evansville, at 12:32 a.m. Saturday at Main and Madison streets, Evansville. He also was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.


-- LACY L. PYPER, 26, of 115 S. Sixth St., Evansville, at 2:19 a.m. Dec. 8 on Liberty Street west of Prentice Street, Evansville. She also was cited for driving too fast for conditions.


Charged

-- SCOTT M. LARSON, 37, of 805 Hilltop Drive, Janesville, with felony theft in connection with the theft in November of a snowmobile trailer containing a snowmobile, two snowblowers and cases of engine oil, total value $10,700.


-- JAMES E. REED, 28, address unknown in Beloit, with identity theft, second-degree reckless endangerment, fleeing and obstructing, all as a repeat offender, because of an incident Nov. 2 in which a town of Beloit police officer reported receiving a false name during a traffic stop followed by the driver taking off and leading the officer on chase that ended when the fugitive driver lost control and his vehicle spun over the curb and hit a telephone pole.


-- CHAD N. WEBB, 23, of 339 Linn St., Janesville, with substantial battery, criminal damage, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass in connection with an incident Nov. 16. A Janesville woman reported that a man kicked in her door and the door struck her in the mouth, chipping three teeth.

-- SEXUAL ASSAULT, to a 7-year-old Janesville girl in the first block of South Main Street, Janesville reported at 8 a.m. Dec. 3.


-- BURGLARY AND THEFT, in the 1100 block of Kellogg Avenue, Janesville, reported at 10:09 a.m. Nov. 30. A deadbolt valued at $10 was broken and family photos valued at $10 and gasoline valued at $30 were taken.


-- BURGLARY, in the 2000 block of Kellogg Avenue, Janesville, reported at 3 p.m. Nov. 23. Taken were video games valued at $400, jewelry valued at $200 and electronic equipment valued at $50.


-- BURGLARY, reported on Wednesday in the 1500 block of Morningside Drive, Janesville. A storage unit was broken in to and taken were golf equipment valued at $150, a watch valued at $150 and luggage valued at $100.


Accidents

-- HIGHWAY 11 AND COUNTY G, at 12:35 p.m. Tuesday. A car driven by Raymond Spry, 85, of 1204 N. Ringold St., Janesville, was northbound on County G when he went through a red light and collided with a car driven by Joyce A. Smith, 50, of 2228 S. Orchard St., Janesville. Spry’s car spun around and collided with a car driven by Paul Long, 36, of 1403 Roosevelt Ave., Janesville. Spry was transported to Mercy Hospital and admitted. His condition was not available at press time. Spry was ticketed for failure to stop at a red light.
