Janesville man sentenced for role in cocaine ring

— A Janesville man was sentenced to almost 11 years in federal prison for his role in a crack cocaine ring.

John Dunn, 27, was sentenced Wednesday to 130 months in prison and five years of extended supervision for conspiring with four other people to distribute cocaine in Janesville, Beloit and Rockford, Ill., from April 2004 through March 2007.

The other four—Jerome Hughes, Lorenzo Taylor, Jennifer Hanthorn and Jennifer Zweifel—were sentenced to prison terms ranging from life for Hughes, the ring leader, to 32 years for Zweifel.
