Edgerton library wins renovation award
The expansion at Edgerton Public Library, completed in February 2006, has gained the attention of the Associated General Contractors of Wisconsin.
The organization gave the library the 2007 Build Wisconsin Award in the “general contractor renovation” category. The library was judged on design and craftsmanship, project teamwork, innovation in construction techniques, meeting difficult challenges and client satisfaction.
Miron Construction, the library’s construction manager, submitted the project for consideration. Library Director Kathy Whitt accepted the award Thursday in Madison.
Recognition also went to the design company, Frye Gillan Molinaro Architects.
