The tribes involved in Beloit's casino project are asking the US District Court in Washington DC to prevent a change in procedures by the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
Those tribes say a change in the approval process which makes it easier to deny off-reservation applications is unlawful. The suit also states the personal views of the Secretary of Interior have impacted Beloit's application process.
