Arrests

-- A 16-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY at 9:20 a.m. Friday at Craig High School, 401 S. Randall Ave., referred to juvenile authorities on a charge of substantial battery. In the same incident, A 15-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY referred to juvenile authorities on a charge of disorderly conduct.


-- DUSTIN R. GAUSS, 20, of 1113 W. Fulton St., No. 1, Edgerton, at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday at his residence on two counts of delivery of marijuana.


-- CAROL A. WELLNITZ, 44, of 516 Margate Drive, Janesville, at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday at her residence on two counts each of theft, forgery and financial card crime.


-- A 14-YEAR-OLD JANESVILLE BOY referred to juvenile authorities on a charge of creating a false bomb scare, at 1:57 p.m. Monday at Franklin Middle School, 450 N. Crosby Ave., Janesville. He is accused of writing on a restroom door a threat to bomb the school. Police found the threat not to be credible.


-- DON Y. BANGASAN, 43, of 3360 Widgeon Drive, Janesville, at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday at the Rock County Courthouse in Janesville, on a charge of felony bail jumping. He is accused of violating the conditions of his bond by contacting his wife at the courthouse and intimidating her.


-- JOHN P. PHILLIPS, 40, of 1619A Happy Hollow Road, Janesville, on charges of medical assistance and food stamp fraud Friday.


-- MICHAEL J. LACEY, 45, of 406 Locust St., Janesville, on a Dane County warrant Friday charging felony failure to register as a sex offender.


-- JENNA M. LEBRANCH, 19, Freeport, Ill., on bench warrants there Monday charging failure to appear in Rock County Court on charges operating a vehicle without owner consent, misappropriating identity and obstructing.


Intoxicated driving arrests

-- LONNIE P. LANGMEIER, 30, of 11109 W. County B, Janesville, at 3:20 a.m. Saturday on Highway 11 west of County H in Janesville Township. Also arrested on a charge of second-offense driving on a revoked license and ticketed for speeding.


Reported

-- BURGLARY in the 1900 block of North Randall Avenue, Janesville, reported Friday. Missing was a Toshiba laptop computer valued at $1,449.


-- BURGLARY in the 100 block of South Jackson Street, Janesville, reported Monday. Missing was a small safe containing numerous items, including a wallet with a bank card, more than $1,000 in cash, a pair of cubic zirconia earrings and a gold necklace.


Accidents

-- PARKER DRIVE AND CENTERWAY in Janesville at 3:23 p.m. Monday, a car driven by Karel A. Cripe, 72, of 153 Hillside Court, Janesville, rear-ended a car driven Shannon M. Quade, 32, of 844 E. Centerway, Janesville. Cripe was ticketed for inattentive driving. Quade was treated and released at Mercy Hospital in Janesville.


-- NORTHBOUND INTERSTATE 90/39 NORTH OF JANESVILLE at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, as traffic was slowing for another four-vehicle accident on the slippery highway, a car driven by Lauren E. Kime, 23, DePere, rear-ended a semitrailer truck driven by Steven M. Geitner, 36, Hudson, then was struck by vehicles driven by Quint R. Studer, 36, of 1904 Doubletree Drive, Janesville, and Patricia K. Criswell, 43, Portage. Kime, who was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions, was treated and released at Mercy Hospital in Janesville.


Charged

-- SHANNON R. PATTERSON, 22, of 1742 Hancock Lane, Janesville, with battery to a police officer, resisting, possession of marijuana and cocaine after police reported he struck an officer in the chest during a traffic stop, then ran and was found to be in possession of marijuana and cocaine.


-- MICHAEL SINGLETON, 19, of 20 E. Royal Vale Drive, Edgerton, with battery to a police officer, second-degree reckless endangerment, fleeing, resisting, obstructing and disorderly conduct after Edgerton police reported an officer was struck in the face after a high-speed chase ended in a muddy field and a fight with officers.


-- DALE A. COPPOCK, 19, Milwaukee, with felony failure to report to jail Sept. 29 to serve a 75-day sentence for misdemeanor intimidation of a witness.


-- CURTIS A. MCALISTER, 33, of 1455 Canyon Drive, No. 3, Janesville, with attempted forgery and obstructing after police reported he ran from an officer investigating a fraud in progress at a local department store.


-- STEVEN A. PLINER, 31, of 828 E. Milwaukee St., No. 2, Janesville, with felony failure to report to jail Sept. 26 to serve a 10-day sentence for disorderly conduct.


-- REGINA WHITE, 43, of 123 E. Racine St., upper, Janesville, with substantial battery after a woman reported being beaten and suffering a broken nose Sept. 22 in Janesville.


-- SCOTT R. SNYDER, 46, no fixed address, with burglary and misdemeanor theft in connection with a break-in in Janesville in early November.


-- SHANNON F. BRANDENBURG, 29, of 582 Rivendell Drive, Milton, with forgery and two counts of felony bail-jumping in connection with the presenting of a stolen check for partial payment for services at an Edgerton medical clinic.
