Parker wrestlers win duals

Seven Parker High wrestlers posted unbeaten records as the Vikings opened their 2007-08 season with five dual meet victories Friday night.


The Vikings swept past Beloit Turner, Lake Geneva Badger, Madsion La Follette and the Parker JV by a combined 304-47.


Parker’s unbeaten wrestlers included: Brennan Casey-Schmidt (103), Ryan Holden (112), Evan Cavey (119), Cody St. Michael (135), Alex Folk (145), Enio Perez (171) and Harold Lloyd (285).


“Enio Perez looked great and Alex Folk looked strong,” Parker assistant coach Andy Tubbs said. “Brennan Casey-Schmidt also had a great night.”


Casey-Schmidt, a freshman, finished with three pins.


Dustin Rucinski (125), Joe Ramirez (140) and Lewis Lobrano (189) lost just one match apiece for the Vikings.


The Parker JV won two matches.
