Possible fairgrounds sites

The Rock County Planning and Development Department on Wednesday presented six options for the location of a future fairgrounds and exposition center. Most of the locations, which circle the city of Janesville—do not include specific properties. The department doesn’t even know if any landowner would be willing to sell. **Locations are approximate**

The county property is the best all around as it is a location that is available for most ajoining cities and townships. And it is exactly that "county property". The access is great and it has the space needed. And the RCSD is close as to the security they already provide. It is the more realistic option......

Place the fair grounds where it has always been slated to be placed for yrs! The county property belongs to the people of the county. Just because it's worth millions of $$$ doesn't mean it should be sold! This county has needed a new venue for years! Get on with it! Stop listening to those who would take for profit what is not theirs for the taking! Seems to me its like the last dog and pony show presented to the people! Millionaires suggesting the people pay so they can gain! Enough with BS the fair grounds belongs on that property now get it there.
