Nya Geschke and William Kegler are engaged and planning a Sunday, Sept. 1, wedding in Janesville.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Donna and Robert Geschke, Janesville. She graduated from Parker High School, Janesville, in 2000, received a degree in health and human performance from UW-Whitewater in 2005 and is studying elementary education at Concordia University. She is a student teacher for the Janesville and Wisconsin Dells school districts.

Her fiancé is the son of JoLynn and Al Kegler, Waterloo. He graduated from Waterloo High School, Waterloo, in 2004, received a degree in exercise sport science from UW-La Crosse in 2008 and received a master’s degree in recreation and sport tourism from University of Illinois in 2010. He is employed by Just a Game Fieldhouse, Wisconsin Dells.

Alissa Johnson and Matthew Gassen are engaged and planning a Saturday, June 29, wedding at Trinity Lutheran Church, Waconia, Minn.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Becky and Robert Johnson, Bemidji, Minn. She graduated from Bemidji High School, Bemidji, Minn., in 2009 and will receive a degree in physical therapy/exercise science from University of North Dakota in May. She is employed by Sadie’s Event Planning, Grand Forks, N.D.

Her fiancé is the son of Kirk Gassen, Waconia, Minn. He graduated from Mayer Lutheran High School, Mayer, Minn., in 2008 and received a degree in communications/leadership from University of North Dakota in 2012. He is employed by Rocky Mountain Marketing, Denver.

Her fiancé is the son of Nancy and John Sonka, Janesville. He graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2003 and received a degree in advertising from University of Minnesota in 2007. He is employed by Ackmann & Dickenson, Minneapolis.

Caitlin Crystal Kelly and Vincent Michael Duncan are engaged and planning a Saturday, Oct. 5, wedding.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Crystal Caldwell, Janesville, and Gary Kelly, Johnstown Center. She graduated from Milton High School, Milton, in 2005 and from Academy of Cosmetology, Janesville, in 2012. She is employed by A-Glo Spa & Salon, Janesville.

Her fiancé is the son of Adrianne Duncan, Janesville, and the late Michael Duncan. He graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2003 and is employed by SSI Technologies, Janesville, as a dye setter.

Elizabeth Jacobson and Mike Klotz are engaged and planning a June wedding at Bridgewood Resort and Hotel, Neenah.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Carolyn and Tony Jacobson, Janesville. She graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2006 and attended UW-Oshkosh and Fox Valley Technical College. She is employed by Affinity Medical Group, Appleton.

Her fiancé is the son of Renee and Scott Klotz, Burlington. He graduated from Westosha Central High School, Salem, in 2005 and received a bachelor’s degree in communication from UW-Oshkosh in 2012. He is employed by The Fastenal Co., Appleton.

WHITEWATER—Pearl E. and Wilbur T. Benoy will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

The couple were married Feb. 19, 1943, in Woodstock, Ill. They are both retired.

Their family includes CoEllen and Kit Sterwald, Bella Vista, Ariz.; Melodie and Don West, Elkhorn; Bonnie and Rodney Benson, Madison; and Pam and John Duerst, Whitewater. They also have seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Anniversary

DELAVAN—Laurie Kant-Hull and Dr. Ronald W. Hull celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a family trip to Disney World in Florida.

Hull and Laurie Kant were married Feb. 14, 1988, in Elkhorn. He is self-employed by Gentle Dental Care, Elkhorn. She is a homemaker.

Their family includes Daniel Kant-Hull, a graduate intern at the University of Iowa’s Strength and Conditioning Center.
