The bride-to-be is the daughter of Anne and Brian Gohlke, Janesville. She graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2008 and received a degree in dietetics from UW-Madison in 2012. She is employed by the Janesville Country Club.

Her fiancé is the son of Maureen and Andy Kwiatkowski, Rockford, Ill.; Kim Morwood and Kendra Luebke, Janesville; and Margaret Duerr, Janesville. He graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2007 and will receive a degree in kinesiology from UW-Madison this year. He is employed by the Janesville Country Club.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Cynthia and Michael Bier, Janesville. She graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2001 and received a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree from Edgewood College, Madison, in 2005. She is employed by Kerry Ingredients & Flavours, Beloit.

Her fiancé is the son of James and the late Ellen Joann Vogel, Janesville. He graduated from Parker High School, Janesville, in 1996 and is employed by J.P. Cullen & Sons, Janesville.

JANESVILLE—Shirley and Charles Thiel celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Jan. 31.

Thiel and Shirley Vine were married Jan. 31, 1953. He is retired from General Motors, Janesville.

Their family includes Ginny Allbee and Patty and Mike Thiele, all of Janesville. They also have three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

JANESVILLE—Lois and Bob Cook will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with family at a later date.

Cook and Lois Ruth Streufert were married Feb. 9, 1963, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Janesville. He is retired from Northern, Janesville, and Custom Conveyor, Racine. She is retired from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Janesville.

Their family includes James Cook, Marshall; Timothy Cook, Fort Worth, Texas; and Carla Faga, St. Charles, Ill. They also have eight grandchildren.
