Kristen LaPointe and Steve Gossel are engaged and planning a Sunday, Nov. 18, wedding in Maui, Hawaii, with a reception Dec. 1 at the Baldwin American Legion, Baldwin.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Lori Meyer, Janesville, and Brian LaPointe, Ladysmith. She graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2000 and is employed by Aurora Residential Alternatives, Baldwin.

Her fiancé is the son of Linda and Randy Gossel, Baldwin. He graduated from Baldwin-Woodville High School, Baldwin, in 1996 and is employed by Baldwin Telecom, Baldwin.

Bentz and Hulick

Leslie Bentz and Alan Hulick are engaged and planning a Saturday, Dec. 1, wedding at Lake Lawn Resort, Delavan.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Connie and Jim Carwardine, Milton, and Steve and Deb Bentz, Viroqua. She graduated from Milton High School, Milton, in 1998 and received a degree in human resources management from UW-Whitewater in 2002. She is employed by the city of Janesville.

Her fiancé is the son of Lynn and Brent Hulick, Janesville. He graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 1999, received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UW-Whitewater in 2003 and received a master’s degree in public administration from Northern Illinois University in 2006. He is employed by the city of Janesville.

Voda and Slatter

Lisa Voda and Billy Slatter are engaged and planning a July 6, 2013, wedding at St. William Parish, Janesville.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Lori and Tom Brown and Steve and Joan Voda, all of Janesville. She graduated from Milton High School, Milton, in 2001 and received a diagnostic ultrasound and vascular ultrasound degree from Wheaton Franciscan St. Francis School of Sonography in 2011. She is employed by St. Mary’s Hospital, Madison.

Her fiancé is the son of Judy and Bill Slatter, Janesville. He graduated from Parker High School, Janesville, in 1997 and completed an electrician apprenticeship at Blackhawk Technical College in 2004. He is employed by Van Brocklin Electric, Janesville.

Radloff and Fondriest

Wedding

Jennifer Radloff and Douglas Fondriest were married Saturday, July 21, at Volunteer Park, downtown Janesville.

Jodi Lathrop, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. Mike Crockett, friend of the groom, was the best man.

The bride graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 1987 and attended Blackhawk Technical College to study computer programming. She is employed as an interface engineer.

The groom graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Milwaukee, in 1988 and is employed by Veolia Environmental Services.

The newlyweds reside in Janesville.

Wedding

Margaret Lutz and Aaron Parker were married Saturday, Aug. 11, at Hotel Del Coronado on Coronado Beach, San Diego.

Their parents are Anne Lutz, Longmont, Colo., and Rachel and William Parker, Santa Monica, Calif.

The bride graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2000 and received a degree in bacteriology from UW-Madison in 2005. She is employed by Salk Institute, La Jolla, Calif., as a stem cell lab manager.

The groom received a Ph.D. in biology from University of California at San Diego in 2011 and is currently a law student at University of Texas.

The newlyweds reside in Austin, Texas.

JANESVILLE—Diane S. and John A. Speer celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with family and friends at the Shady Nook in Janesville. They also will take a family trip to Las Vegas.

Speer and Diane S. Albrecht were married Oct. 21, 1972, in Janesville. He is employed by Congress Glass, Janesville. She is employed by Woodman’s corporate office, Janesville.

Their family includes Nick and Carey Speer and Jennifer Pliner, all of Janesville. They also have three grandchildren.

JANESVILLE—Kathy and Jim Gunderson will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary with a weekend getaway.

Gunderson and Kathleen Zeilinger were married Oct. 15, 1977, in Janesville. He is employed by Morgan Corp., Janesville. She dedicates her time to her grandchildren.

Their family includes Peter and Brynn Gunderson, Wendy and Hector Medrano and Amy Gunderson, all of Janesville. They also have six grandchildren.
