JANESVILLE—Dorothy A. and Kenneth J. Bomkamp celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Bomkamp and Dorothy A. Kolman were married Nov. 10, 1962, in Muscoda. He is retired from General Motors, Janesville. She is retired from Kathy’s Korner, Janesville.

Their family includes Connie and Brad Saunders, Smithville, Mo., and Sandy Shapiro, Berlin. They also have four grandchildren.

JANESVILLE—Ruth and Larry Fladhammer will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the VFW, 1015 Center Ave.

Fladhammer and Ruth Borgen were married Nov. 30, 1962, in Westby. He is retired from General Motors, Janesville, and House of Insurance. She is retired from The Janesville Gazette.

Their family includes Rita and Dan Milbrandt, Amy and Mike Fuerbringer, Kristi Creighton, Mark Fladhammer and Eric Fladhammer, all of Janesville. They also have six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

LAKE GENEVA—Elaine and Wayne Vorpagel celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a party with family and friends.

Vorpagel and Elaine Cammers were married Nov. 10, 1962, in Lake Geneva. He is retired from the U.S. Postal Service. She is a homemaker.

Their family includes Scott and Kathy Vorpagel, Lake Geneva, and Tim and Jeanne Vorpagel, West Allis. They also have three grandchildren.

Meghan Brady and Blake Hansen are engaged and planning a July 2013 wedding in Monroe.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ann Brady and Scott Brady, both of Janesville. She graduated from Parker High School, Janesville, in 2007 and studied nursing at Blackhawk Technical College. She is employed by Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Phoenix.

Her fiancé is the son of Shelley (Smither) and Shawn Lacey, Mesa, Ariz., and Mark Hansen, Maquoketa, Iowa. He graduated from Parker High School, Janesville, in 2007 and is majoring in business/accounting at Arizona State University.
