Quass and Mary K. Massie were married Jan. 27, 1962, in Whitewater. He is retired from General Motors, Janesville. She is retired from Gay Bowles Sales, Janesville.

Their family includes Todd Quass and Sherry Trappe, both of Janesville, and Lisa Henderson, Marshall. They also have seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

MILTON—Elaine and Frank Kligora celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house at Buckaroos.

Kligora and Elaine Kersten were married Dec. 29, 1961, in Janesville. He is retired from General Motors, Janesville. She is retired from Siemens-Burdick, Deerfield.

Their family includes Christine Kligora, Curtis Kligora and Chad and Shannon Kligora, all of Milton; and Carmen Kligora and Bill Becker, Janesville. They also have seven grandchildren.

JANESVILLE—Judith Wright and Eugene Stover Gibbs celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering during the Christmas holiday.

Gibbs and Judith Ann Wright were married Dec. 21, 1961, in Waco, Texas. He is retired from Ashland University, Ashland, Ohio. She also is retired.

Their family includes the late Joel Wright Gibbs; Warren Gibbs, Hartland; and Amy Marinelli, Goodyear, Ariz. They also have four grandchildren.

Emily Lynn Cooper and Andrew Michael Richard Schiller were married Saturday, Sept. 24, at St. Thomas More Church, Troy, Mich.

Their parents are Carol (DeRoma) and Thomas Cooper, Troy, Mich., and Ginger (Kettner) and Charles Schiller, Old Town, Maine.

Rachel Cooper, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Shawn Schiller and Derek Schiller, brothers of the groom, were the best men.

The bride graduated from Pennsylvania State University and is employed by GolinHarris Public Relations, Chicago, as a senior community manager.

The groom graduated from Parker High School, Janesville, in 1998 and received a degree from UW-Milwaukee. He is employed by Gordon Flesch Co., Chicago, as a senior systems engineer.

The newlyweds reside in Chicago.

The bride graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 1999 and received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from UW-Madison in 2007. She is employed by McKillip Animal Hospital, Chicago.

The groom graduated from Minooka High School, Minooka, Ill., in 1996 and received a degree in landscape architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002. He is the owner of Outdoor Concepts Landscaping, Burr Ridge, Ill.

BELIVEDERE, ILL.—Beulah M. and Harold B. McLarty celebrated their 50th anniversary with a family dinner.

McLarty and Beulah Phillips Robinson were married Jan. 19, 1962, in Janesville.

Their family includes Cynthia and Kingsley Enos, Poplar Grove, Ill.; Julie and Dale Dieterman, Belvidere, Ill.; Keith and Connie Robinson, Scottsdale, Ariz.; the late Curtis Robinson; and the late Rex Earl McLarty.

They also have five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Her fiancé is the son of Ann and Warren Brown, Milton. He graduated from Milton High School, Milton, in 2005 and received a degree in physics from UW-Whitewater in 2009. He is employed by Woodman’s Food Market, Menomonee Falls, and is a bio-med tech intern at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center, Janesville.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Harriet and Thomas Rogers, Janesville. She graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 1995, received a bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2000 and a Master of Education degree in 2002 from Temple University, Philadelphia. She is employed by Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Philadelphia.

Her fiancé is the son of Barbara Adams, Mechanicsburg, Pa., and Jonathan Adams, Harrisburg, Pa. He graduated from Cumberland Valley High School, Mechanicsburg, Pa., in 1997 and received a mathematics/actuary degree from Pennsylvania State University in 2001.
