Her fiancé is the son of Jean and John Hammer, Edgerton. He graduated from Edgerton High School, Edgerton, in 2006 and graduated from UW-Madison in 2010. He is employed by UW-Madison.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tammy and Bryan Aide, Janesville. She graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2005 and received a degree in human resource management from UW-Whitewater in 2010. She is employed by Hometown Buffet, Janesville.

Her fiancé is the son of Georgia Thatcher, Helena, Ohio, and Steve Lucas, Janesville. He graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2002 and is employed by R&M Manufacturing, Milton.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Susan and William Fassbender, Janesville. She graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2007 and will receive a degree in Spanish education and French education from UW-Whitewater in May.

Her fiancé is the son of Vildan and Zafer Gozoglu, Izmir, Turkey. He graduated from Bornova Anadolu Lisesi, Izmir, Turkey, in 2007; will receive a degree in electrical engineering from Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey, in June; and will attend Purdue University to earn an MBA. He is employed by Aselsan, Ankara, Turkey, as a software engineer.

Eva Kold and Mike Hickey are engaged and planning a Saturday, April 28, wedding at Pontiac Convention Center, Janesville.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jeanine Kiss, Janesville, and Walter Kold, Naperville, Ill. She graduated from Parker High School, Janesville, in 2003, received a bachelor’s degree in public history from UW-Whitewater in 2007 and received a master’s degree in library and information science from UW-Milwaukee in 2010. She is employed by YMCA of the Fox Cities, Appleton.

Her fiancé is the son of Connie and Bob Hickey, Janesville. He graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2001 and received a degree in public history from UW-Whitewater in 2007. He is employed by FedEx Express, Appleton.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Sara and Marty Harbin, Shipman, Va., and Sheldon Stotmeister, Platteville. She graduated from Potosi High School, Potosi, in 2000 and received a degree in nursing from Southern Wisconsin Technical College in 2005. She is employed as a private duty registered nurse in Mt. Horeb.

Her fiancé is the son of Maureen and Dupa Furan and Jon Peterson, all of Edgerton. He graduated from Edgerton High School, Edgerton, in 2000 and received a chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa, in 2007. He is self-employed by Peterson Chiropractic Clinic, Edgerton.

Rachael L. Runde and Scott T. Inman were married Oct. 1, 2011, at Queen of the Holy Rosary Chapel, Sinsinawa.

Their parents are Kristi and Tom Runde, Hazel Green, and Lori and Brad Inman, Orfordville.

The bride graduated from Southwestern High School, Hazel Green, in 2004 and received a degree in accounting from UW-Platteville in 2008. She is employed by the Legislative Audit Bureau, Madison.

The groom graduated from Parkview High School, Orfordville, in 2003 and received a degree in civil engineering from UW-Platteville in 2008. He is employed by TRC, Middleton.

The newlyweds reside in Madison.

Jordan and Heather Wilke were married April 11, 1987, in Janesville. He is employed by Porteous Fastener Co., Carson, Calif.

Their family includes two daughters, Kelsey and Hannah, both of Tustin, Calif.

JANESVILLE—Betty and James Elgas will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Elgas and Betty Dabel were married April 8, 1972, in Jefferson. He is retired from General Motors, Janesville. She also is retired.

Their family includes Pete and Diane Elgas, Janesville, and Linda Elgas, Clinton. They also have three grandchildren.

JANESVILLE—Elizabeth and Oliver Anason will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.

Anason and Elizabeth Ann Pash were married April 8, 1967, in Oregon, Ill. He is retired from St. Matthews School, Janesville, and works part time at The Gazette, Janesville. She is also retired.

Their family includes Jim and Lisa Lauer and Dawn Anason, all of Janesville; Sean and Deon Brennan, Marshfield; Gary and Donna Erickson and Gary and Lynette Anason, all of Neillsville; and Randy and Carol Anason, Lake Mills. They also have 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

EVANSVILLE—Marilyn and Gerald Vanthournout will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 15, at Creekside Place, 102 Maple St.

Vanthournout and Marilyn Marie Johnson were married Jan. 20, 1962, in St. Charles, Ill. He is semi-retired as a farmer.

Their family includes Kevin Vanthournout, Greg and Rene Vanthournout, Rhonda and Joe Heisz, and Stephanie and Aaron Bush, all of Evansville; and Lynette and Dave Wellnitz, Edgerton. They also have 12 grandchildren.
