Kelly Womersley and Steven Cook are engaged and planning a Saturday, May 29, wedding at Alice Millar Chapel, Evanston, Ill.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ellen and Patrick Womersley, Maryville, Tenn. She graduated from Parker High School, Janesville, in 1997. She received a risk management and insurance degree from UW-Madison. She is employed by Hyatt Hotels Corp., Chicago.
Her fiancé is the son of Amanda and Ronald Cook, Western Springs, Ill. He graduated from Lyons Township High School, La Grange, Ill., in 1996. He received an organizational behavior degree from Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill. He is employed by UBS, Chicago.

Cassandra Fisher and Michael Singleton are engaged and planning a Saturday, Aug. 21, wedding at Rotary Gardens, Janesville.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Susan Fisher and Robert Hookstead, both of Milton. She graduated from Milton High School, Milton, in 2007. She is attending UW-La Crosse and will graduate in 2011 with a degree in accounting.
Her fiancé is the son of Jackie and Barry Jareczek, both of South Elgin, Ill. He graduated from Edgerton High School, in 2006, and is employed by Morrison Auto, Edgerton.

Iana Marcionila Moura de Sa e Silva and Terry Richard Mitchell Jr. were married Jan. 22 in Sacramento, Calif.
Their parents are Ione and Ednaldo Silva, Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, and Connie and Terry Mitchell, Muscatine, Iowa.
Leticia Rodrigues, best friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Nick Folta, friend of the groom, was best man.
The bride graduated from Colegio Sagrado Coracao de Jesus High School, Camaragibe, Pernambuco in 1999, received a biology science degree from the University Federal Rural of Pernambuco, in 2005, and a master’s degree in forestry science from the University Federal Rural de Pernambuco in 2007. She is employed by April & Ty Shepard, Folsom, Calif.
The groom graduated from Nebraska City High School, Nebraska City, Neb., in 1996, and received an aviation degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 2003. He is employed by Sacramento Jet Center, Sacramento, Calif.
The newlyweds reside in Sacramento.

JANESVILLE—Marcella "Marcy" and Floyd Drake will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, Feb. 27, with family and friends and later with a trip to Italy.
Drake and Marcella Welsh were married Feb. 27, 1960, in Gays Mills. He is retired from General Motors, Janesville.
Their family includes Mark and Kathy Drake, Teresa and Ben Kubisiak and Julie and John Lawrence, all of Janesville. They also have six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Brandt and Diane Marie Warnock were married Feb. 20, 1965, in Itasca, Ill. He is employed by Rock County. She is retired from the Janesville School District.
