Goodsir and Reible

Engagement

Jen Goodsir and Jake Reible are engaged and planning a July wedding in the Wisconsin Dells.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kelli Goodsir and Joel Goodsir, both of Janesville. She graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2006, and is currently attending Blackhawk Technical College, Janesville, to receive a degree as a registered nurse.
Her fiancé is the son of Teri and Neal Reible, Waunakee. He graduated from Waunakee High School, Waunakee, in 2005. He is employed by Wisconsin Distribution, Sun Prairie.

Kathleen Downing and Joshua Roling are engaged and planning a Saturday, July 10, wedding at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Janesville.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mary and John Downing, Janesville. She graduated from Milton High School, Milton, in 2005, and received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Marquette University, Milwaukee, in 2009. She is employed as a paralegal in Durham, N.C.
Her fiancé is the son of Linda and Paul Roling, Clinton, Iowa. He graduated from Prince of Peace High School, Clinton, Iowa, in 2005, and received a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from Marquette University, Milwaukee, in 2009. He is currently attending Duke Law School, Durham, N.C.

Duerst and Anderson

Wedding

Meghan Duerst and Kyle Anderson were married Saturday, May 30, at Evergreen Golf Club, Elkhorn.
Their parents are Pam and John Duerst, Whitewater, and Cindy and Richard Anderson, Elkhorn. Alissa Spencer, friend of the couple, was the matron of honor. Moe Person, friend of the couple, was the best man.
The bride graduated from Whitewater High School, Whitewater, in 2000, and received a master’s degree in occupational therapy from UW-Milwaukee in 2005. She is employed by Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital, Milwaukee.
The groom graduated from Elkhorn High School, Elkhorn, in 1996, and received a master’s degree in finance from UW-Milwaukee in 2009. He is employed by Constellation New Energy, Waukesha.

Anniversary

BRODHEAD—Stella A. and Norman C. Geister will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Senior Village Hospitality Room, 1108 21st Street, Brodhead.
Geister and Stella A. Walikonis were married Feb. 10, 1945, at St. John Lutheran Church, Janesville. They are both retired from Accudyne, Janesville.
Their family includes Norma Beliveau, San Marco, Texas; Debra and Stanley Geister, Wisconsin Rapids; Linda and Tony Geister, and Sandy and Dick Geister, all of Darien; Donna Geister, Tammy and Jerry Geister, and Georgia and Steve Wheelock, all of Beloit; Vicki and Bob Fletcher, Avalon; and Barb Frees, Brodhead. They also have 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

JANESVILLE—Joan M. and William I. Jacobson celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family at the Lake House Inn, Edgerton.
Jacobson and Joan M. Macfarlane were married Jan. 29, 1950, at Cargill Memorial Methodist Church, Janesville. He is retired from Gateway Transportation, Janesville. She is retired from Mercy Hospital, Janesville.
Their family includes Carol and William K. Jacobson, and Margie and Jim Murphy, all of Janesville; and Barb and Daniel T. Jacobson, Mt. Horeb. They also have eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

EDGERTON—Sandee and Robert Lyke will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at the Fireside, Fort Atkinson.
Lyke and Sandee Bieck were married Feb. 6, 1960, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Dubuque, Iowa. He is retired from General Motors, Janesville.
Their family includes Denise and Dan Lyke, Edgerton; Renee Lyke, Janesville; and the late Shawn Dooley and Gail and Larry Anderson. They also have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Sarah Nesler and Andrew Wolf were married Sunday, Dec. 27, at Grace Evangelical Free Church, Afton.
Their parents are Konni and John Nesler, Clinton, and Kathy and Dan Wolf, Janesville. Kelly Boice, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Scott Strong, friend of the groom, was the best man.
The bride graduated from home schooling and received a bachelor of fine arts degree in dance. She is employed by To the Pointe, Hartland, and Danceworks, Milwaukee.
The groom graduated from Craig High School, Janesville. He received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from UW-Platteville, a master's degree in guidance counseling from UW-Whitewater, and a master's degree in educational leadership from Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee. He is employed by the Janesville School District.
