Ashley Bartz and Michael Golz are engaged and planning a Saturday, June 13, wedding at the Pontiac Convention Center, Janesville. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jody and Jim Bartz, Tomahawk. She graduated from Edgerton High School, Edgerton, in 2004 and is currently attending Blackhawk Technical College, Janesville, to receive a degree in nursing. She is employed by Mercy Hospital, Janesville. Her fiancé is the son of Sharon and Curt Golz, Albany. He graduated from Albany High School, Albany, in 2003 and received a degree in wood technics from Madison Area Technical College, Madison, in 2004. He is employed by Naatz Construction, Footville.

Ashley Dummer and Jon Ranum are engaged and planning a Friday, Aug. 7, wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Julie Murphy and Theresa and John Dummer, all of Janesville. She graduated from Parker High School, Janesville, in 2002. She received a bachelor’s degree in education from UW-Whitewater in 2007 and is currently attending National Louis University, Janesville, to receive a degree in curriculum and instruction. She will graduate in December. She is employed by the Janesville School District as an elementary/middle school teacher. Her fiancé is the son of Mary Schumacher and Cindy and Chris Ranum, all of Janesville. He graduated from Parker High School, Janesville, in 2003. He is employed by L.P. Tree Service, Janesville.

Anna Lucille Perren and Matthew Joseph Cicciarelli are engaged and planning a Saturday, Aug. 22, wedding at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Peoria, Ill. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Nancy and Dick Perren, Milton. She graduated from Milton High School, Milton, in 2003 and received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from UW-Milwaukee in 2007. She is employed by OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Ill. Her fiancé is the son of Valerie Mills, Miami, Fla. and Diana and Scott Cicciarelli, Peoria, Ill. He graduated from Peoria Notre Dame High School, Peoria, Ill., in 2002 and received a degree in finance and marketing from UW-Milwaukee in 2006. He is employed by The Pipco Company, Ltd., Peoria, Ill.

Valerie Moeser and Nathan Shortslef are engaged and planning a Saturday, Sept. 19, wedding in Brooklyn. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jacqueline and Ken Moen, McFarland, and Vicky and William Moeser, Brooklyn. She graduated from Oregon High School, Oregon, in 2003 and received a degree in education from UW-Milwaukee in 2008. Her fiancé is the son of Lori and James Shortslef, Kapolei, Hawaii. He graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2002 and received a degree in computer science from UW-Milwaukee in 2007.

DELAVAN—Gloria and Ralph A. Moehrke celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends. Moehrke and Gloria Stocker were married May 7, 1949, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Kenosha. He is retired from the Wisconsin State Patrol as a state trooper. Their family includes Elizabeth and Daniel Moehrke, Seattle; Dawn and John Moehrke, Oostburg; Robin and Bob Arnold, San Antonio, Texas; Marianne and Tom Reber, Louisville, Tenn.; Gail and Pete Nieuwenhuis, Delavan and an AFS student Ursula and Markus Lauber, Switzerland. They also have 10 grandchildren.

KESHENA—Eleonore H. And Donald W. Graser will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends. Graser and Eleonore Gebhardt were married June 20, 1959, in Kenosha. He is retired from Simmons Mattress Company, Janesville. She is retired from JAE’s Catering, Janesville. Their family includes Michael A. Graser, Keshena, and Mark L. Graser, Marshall. They also have two grandchildren.

JANESVILLE—Margie and James Paul will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner and a trip to South Dakota. Paul and Margie Kessler were married May 7, 1959, in San Clemente, Calif. They are both retired. Their family includes Robert Paul and J.C. Paul, both of Janesville; and Richard and Teresa Paul, Huron, S.D. They also have two grandchildren.

Birschbach and Carol Adams were married June 6, 1959, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Platteville. He is retired from WP&L/Alliant Energy, Janesville. She is retired from Mercy Health Systems, Janesville. Their family includes Karen and Brian Birschbach, Waukesha; Donna and Jon Birshcbach, Middleton; and Lori and Erik Hanewold, Janesville. They also have six grandchildren.
