She graduated from Whitewater High School, Whitewater, in 2001, and received a degree in life science communications from UW-Madison in 2005. She is employed by Milk Products, Chilton. Her fiancé is the son of Christine and Joseph Brantmeier, Sherwood. He graduated from Hilbert High School, Hilbert, in 2002, and received a degree in dairy science from UW-Madison in 2006. He is a member of the fraternity Alpha Gamma Rho. He is employed by Hilrose Dairy, Sherwood.

Stephanie Sisk and Jordan Swanson are engaged and planning a Saturday, Aug. 15, wedding at River Hills Community Church, Janesville. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Audi and John Sisk, Beloit. She graduated from Beloit Memorial High School, Beloit, in 2005, and is attending UW-Oshkosh to receive a degree in exercise science. Her fiancé is the son of Jane and John Swanson, Janesville. He graduated from Swanson Christian Academy, Janesville, in 2005, and is attending UW-Madison to receive a degree in civil engineering.

ELKHORN—Loretta and Henry Schmitt celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner. Schmitt and Loretta Schiesher were married Feb. 15, 1944, in Hampshire, Ill. They are both retired farmers and Pioneer seed sales representatives. Their family includes John Schmitt and Linda Browning, Lue and Dave Schmitt, and Jean Schmitt, all of Elkhorn; Irene and Dan Krummen, Lodi; and Linda Schmitt, West Milwaukee. They also have 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Holly Bucheit and Michael Deal are engaged and planning a summer 2010 wedding. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Melanie and David Bucheit, Richmond, Va. She graduated from Mills E. Godwin High School, Richmond, Va., and received a degree in operations research from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, Conn., in 2005. She is employed by the U.S Coast Guard, Knoxville, Tenn. Her fiancé is the son of Darlene and Larry Deal, Janesville. He graduated from Craig High School, Janesville, in 2002, and received a degree in business administration from UW-Whitewater in 2006. He is employed by the U.S. Coast Guard, Pensacola, Fla., where he is attending naval flight school.

JANESVILLE—Bonnie and Glenn Bjornstad will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary with a trip in April. Bjornstad and Bonnie Jean DeWitt were married Feb. 27, 1954, in Westby. They are both retired from General Motors, Janesville. Their family includes Deanna and Wayne Parker, Gary Bjornstad, and Patti Jo and Jerry Bakke, all of Janesville. They also have seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She is employed by University Hospital, Madison, as a registered nurse. The groom received a degree in respiratory therapy from Madison Area Technical College, Madison. He is employed by University Hospital, Madison, as a respiratory therapist. The newlyweds reside in Evansville.

Brewer and Darlene Trezer were married March 8, 1959, in Brodhead. He is retired from Stoughton Trailers, Brodhead. She is retired from Boston Store, Janesville. Their family includes Deborah Laskowski, Diana and Richard Griffa, Dawn and Ted Streuly, all of Janesville. They also have eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
