JANESVILLE—Mildred and Edwin Leeger will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with family and friends. Leeger and Mildred Myhre were married Aug. 1, 1939, at East Luther Valley Church, Beloit. He is retired as a self-employed sheet metal worker. She is retired from Warner Electric, South Beloit, Ill., and Sears Roebuck & Company, Janesville.

Franklin and Sharon Flater were married Aug. 1, 1959, in Monona. He is a farmer and she is currently the treasurer for the town of Union. Their family includes Timothy Franklin, and Sally and Randall Karlen, all of Evansville; Rachel and Michael Franklin, Meridian, Idaho; Terry and John Franklin, Oregon; and the late Mary Franklin. They also have nine grandchildren.
